Club Kute album launch

Huge thanks to Masayasu at Quince for sending copies of the album to us from Japan in super-quick time. They arrived the day before and it was great to see the finished product - along with Japanese lyric insert. Hurrah!
The album launch at the Cooler here in Bristol was a top night. Saturday was Club Kute and DJ George made the night really special with a ballooned stage and party atmosphere. (Top 3 pics thanks to Lou, other two sketchy pics from my camera). Had the luxury of Duncan doing our sound again so long soundcheck and attention to detail. So glad Dunc can come out to Austria with us later this month.
We're looking forward to playing the Cooler again later in the year - more info on that soon.
The other week I went to the very last Go Ape at Moles in Bath run by Gareth. Really hope that he will revive the Go Ape format at another club later in the year as he works tirelessly as a promoter putting interesting and eclectic nights on. Also, from a band perspective he really treated us well both times we played there, which makes such a difference. He also put Noemi on for their first UK gig which was ace of him. Anyway, the last Go Ape featured the legendary Frank Sidebottom and so I had to get a pic, I really did.
